halloween playlist

Hello my dearest creepie crawlies!

Halloween is upon us with its mighty claws and you might feel the need to celebrate with an horrendous party or, you may be already feeling the 'ghoul' mood and deciding to make a day out of pumpkin carving - well, it is one of the greatest activities you can do this time of year, specially if you have children!

If so, and in case you are in need of some ear candy inspiration, here is the most funky of playlists - the pumpkin carving hipster tunes, Halloween playlist, by me.

You can hear it on soundcloud (link here and 'play' button below) or, if you prefer, through spotify (...shh!, the spotify version has 3 extra creepy songs!).

So please enjoy it and shake it all until the end of the month!

happy halloween!

Happy Halloween to all of you, whether you are dressing up or not. Here's me and my chalkboard painted pumpkin from many moons ago (as this year I didn't decorate or carved pumpkins at all!).

October has been a very warm and sunny month in Portugal, fall didn't come through at all and we have been enjoying a late summer...which was fine by me! But it somehow took the magic out of the falling leaves, fall air breeze and pumpkin carving altogether. This time of year is not the same since we have left England, by the way. But as we are here now, then we should enjoy the sun for as long as it wants to make an appearance and keep shining for us.

30 best d.i.y. halloween costumes for kids

Halloween is upon us, but we still have plenty of time for an improvised 'made by mum' super cool costume - those are undoubtedly the most gorgeous and original ones!

Take a look at these fun and clever ideas from around the globe; from newborns to pre-teens...these have caught my eye all year long and it is now time to share them with you.

I hope you like them as much as I did, and hopefully even, get truly inspired (some gave me the giggles too, I must admit!)

Finding a Halloween costume for a new little baby can be tricky. Something comfortable and cozy is top priority for an enjoyable evening out. This costume would be easy to incorporate with normal baby-wear—like onesies, kimono shirts, and swaddling blankets.

halloween party cups

Halloween is on its way, and as you may be preparing the last touches to that scary party here's a great {and very simple idea} to spruce it up.

Halloween party cups just by adding googly eyes!...and for that extra special 'monstrously' touch add those funky paper straws you see everywhere now.
