wait for the boy...



Tomorrow will be Valentine's day and also Singles' Awareness Day - so, if you are one of the many of us who is actually single on this day, instead of looking to the dread of it all let's celebrate singleness at its best.
Indeed you have to know solitude, be self-aware as a 'one' before you can really enjoy being a 'half'.
There is smartness in waiting {even if for a long, long time} for the one who will take 'THE' V.I.P. place in your heart, instead of throwing it just to anyone who wants another piece to break, right?

And remember, no despair...patience is key - it will be worth it in the end!

On the 4th of May was Audrey Hepburn's birthday. She would be 84.

You know her as one of the biggest stars of the silver screen, an altruistic being, a generous soul, who used her voice to the greater good in her many humanitarian projects.

She was also a truly inspiring woman. Strong and determined, successful and restless. Like all of us, defeated many times and raised many more. A {perhaps} fragile and soft appearance with a lioness courage inside.

She was, above all one of the greatest fashion icons of all times {she was indeed, a very classy lady!}


Hepburn has since been a protagonist in the blogosphere {the world wide world of blogs!} because of her inspirational quotes.

And since inspiration is all I can give you - I hope you enjoy these 'modern wisdoms', whilst also playing a little tribute to this amazing woman.

have a happy happy day

Good morning my lovelies, how are you today?
We have been struck with very cloudy and grey skies lately, and also very slow internet connection - which justifies why I have been a little quieter online in this upcoming Easter season.

So, as you can imagine, for someone who's a SUN worshiper like me, and also loves to work on their blog...well, let's say it's not the most favourable of circumstances to be in.

Although let's keep our spirits UP, shall we?! And enjoy the day ahead as best as possible with a long holiday weekend awaiting us.

I remain hoping it all goes back to normal very soon: the online situation and the weather {my wishes to myself!} - and to you ::
