It's always very exciting and positively challenging {and extremely rewarding too!} when a client makes a 'special request'. This one in particular was to replace our usual butterflies with ladybugs...and what a pleasure it was!
Our ladybugs had a very funky and hand drawn look with a 3D feel. They were raised from the background and separated from their antennas so as to cast shadow and create an almost 'alive' effect. The outcome was such a delicate looking yet funky shadow box...for a very special girl, I'm sure!
They have now flown home...but you never know, one of these days they may come back...
